Stuffed Mussels - Back to Recipe Index
Ingredients
2 lbs. mussels, save broth and shells
3 tbsp. chopped onions
3 tbsp. chopped celery
5 tbsp. margarine
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 c. bread crumbs toasted
1 tsp. dry mustard1 tsp. salt
few grains of cayenne pepper |
Directions
Chop mussel meat coarsely. Saute onion and celery in margarine. Add parsley, bread crumbs and seasonings. Add mussels and enough of the broth to make a moist mixture. Put in mussel shells. Bake at 450 F unlit lightly browned. Serves 4. |
