Stuffed Mussels - Back to Recipe Index

Ingredients

2 lbs. mussels, save broth and shells
3 tbsp. chopped onions
3 tbsp. chopped celery
5 tbsp. margarine
3 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 c. bread crumbs toasted
1 tsp. dry mustard1 tsp. salt
few grains of cayenne pepper


Directions

Chop mussel meat coarsely. Saute onion and celery in margarine. Add parsley, bread crumbs and seasonings. Add mussels and enough of the broth to make a moist mixture. Put in mussel shells. Bake at 450 F unlit lightly browned. Serves 4.
